The best part of Jurassic Park is when they first see that dinosaurs have been brought back to life, right? The theme music plays in my head when I use this dino dishcloth. :)

The techniques for this pattern are easy! You only need knit and slipped stitches to create the pattern, and only one colour of yarn is used at a time. This is a great introduction to the techniques used for “mosaic knitting”, and creates a cute and practical cloth in no time!

Yarn:
Worsted weight cotton yarn (4) in two or more contrasting colours, approximately 36m/40 yards of each colour. Cotton yarn is recommended for dishcloths; but any fibre (or weight) would work for the pattern.

Gauge is not critical for this project, but will affect the finished size and yardage required.

Needles: 4.5mm (US size 7) straight knitting needles

Finished Dimensions: Approximately 9” square.

Pattern instructions: Written and charted instructions
