The Bronwen Shawl was inspired by my Physio Therapist. Bronwen greeted me every day with the most motivating smile. She knew when to push me, when to just leave me alone and when to make me laugh. I respect her so much for constantly trying to better herself, her honesty and her perseverance. Here’s to you Bronwen, from one Small But Mighty Lady to another.

The shawl is intended as sort of a stash buster. The premiss behind this shawl is that you can use just one skein or one + some leftovers of the same colour. It would also be perfect for that ONE skein you’ve been hoarding….

The pattern will show best on a semi solid or lightly speckle yarn. If a yarn with too much colour variegation is used, the cable detail will be lost.

The pattern requires the use of a scale. The yarn is weighed at the start and you move through the pattern dependant on how much yarn you have left, so a scale (the more sensitive the better) is a must.

Finished measurements of the shawl are 12 inches at its widest point and 72 inches long. These measurements will vary depending on how aggressively the shawl is blocked.
