Woody The Bear “Enchanted Forest“

The Pattern:
Woody loves his blanket and hugs it all day and night long. And why wouldn’t he? His blanket is a gorgeous 25 square patchwork fleece lined blanket that takes woody on a journey into the enchanted forest. He’s all wrapped up in the vibrant forest colours that keeps him warm and keeps a beautiful smile on his face.

Woody is knitted all in garter stitch and has a big chubby belly that any baby, child or adult won’t be able to resist to give a bug squishy cuddle.

The pattern is 8 pages long (Including 1 front page which is just photos and pattern name) and has lots of step by step photos.

Measurements:
Bear Measurements:
From the top of the ears to the bear’s bottom Woody stands at approximately 30cm/12”.

Bear’s Blanket Measurements:
When finished the bear’s patchwork blanket will measure approximately 25cm x 25cm (10” x 10”).

Each square will measure approximately 5cm x 5cm (2” x 2”). This is a rough guide and size will vary as some squares require extra stitches to be cast on to achieve the desired pattern.

Materials required:
One Pair of 3.25mm (no.3) Knitting Needles.
One Pair of 4mm (no.6) Knitting Needles.
150g Sirdar Snuggly DK Light Brown (428) Yarn.
One 18mm Animal Nose.
Two 9mm Solid Black Eyes.
The following yarns are for the blanket and are just a suggestion, any DK odds and ends you have will work great too …..
10g Sirdar Snuggly DK Summer Lime (260) Yarn.
10g Sirdar Snuggly DK Tawny (445) Yarn.
10g Sirdar Snuggly DK Cherry Pie (437) Yarn.
10g Sirdar Snuggly DK Baby Beige (429) Yarn.
At least 30cm (12”) Square Cream Fleece Material.

Please Note:
Yarn companies are constantly discontinuing colours so they can offer new ones to their customers which unfortunately and very frustratingly is beyond my control. Therefore, the yarns given in the pattern are just a suggestion and what was used in the patterns pictured. If you find any of the colours have been discontinued or hard to come by any DK yarn from any brand of a similar colour will work too.
