Brownfield Shawl is an asymmetrical triangle shawl with an all over texture pattern and simple lace border. The border can be worked either using multiple colors or with just one solid color. Instructions for both options are provided in the pattern.

Multi-color version:
Quince & Co. Chickadee 100% wool, 181 yds/50 g: caspian (MC): 4 skeins; clay (C1), sedum (C2), pomegranate (C3), rosa rugosa (C4), sorbet (C5), frank’s plum (C6): 1 skein each.
or
Sport weight yarn; MC: 660 yds (604 m), C1-C6: 20 yds (18 m) each.

Solid color version:
Quince & Co. Chickadee (100% wool, 181yds/50 g): caspian (MC): 5 skeins
or
Sport weight yarn, 780 yds (713 m).

Needles
US Size 6 (4 mm) 32-40” circular to accomodate a large number of stitches.
