Soft and warm like the delicious cake, my “Brownie” is a very easy to do cowl, suitable for beginners but also for those looking for a small project to finish in a couple of hours.
It can be the perfect solution for a last minute gift or if you want to keep your hands busy during a short trip.
It’s a one size piece.
Shown in 104 cm/41” shoulder and a head circumference of
56 cm/22”.

MATERIALS

Yarn
1 ball of Chunky Durable (100% virgin wool; 70 m/77 y per 100g ball).
Shown in dark brown.

Can be also made with other different yarn but in this case yardage and dimensions might change.

I have chosen a bulky yarn for my project but any other thick yarn, as those single spun threads suitable for felting, is perfect as long as the gauge is achieved.

Needles
60 cm 9 mm/24” US 13 circular needle

Feel free to use the needle size you need to achieve the gauge.

Other Notions
1 stitch marker, tapestry needle, measure tape, scissors.

GAUGE

10 sts by 11 rows in 10 cm/4” in stockinette stitch, unblocked.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Base 1 - 33 cm/12,99”
Base 2 - 20 cm/7,87”
Height - 15 cm/5,90”
