«Brushstrokes tee» is a tee with yoke, worked seamlessly in the round from the top down with circular needles. Begin by working some rounds in 1x1 Rib, then — some short rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck. Then the circular yoke is worked top down to sleeve separation.Some last short­rows are worked to finish the yoke shaping right before sleeve stitches are placed on a holder or waste yarn, then the body is worked in rounds down to the hem. FInally, the sleeves are worked top down to the cuffs. Skill level intermediate.

Yarn
Yarn used for the sample was Alize «Bella», 180м/50g, yardage of main colour ~160 (195, 210, 230)g ~(580 (700, 760, 830) m), contrast colour 20 (22, 24, 28)g ~75 (80, 90, 100) m.
Any similar yarn can be used.
Needle
US 2 (3 mm) 16” (40 cm) and 32” (80 cm) circular needle (or longer circular needle for magic loop or DPNs) for body and sleeve ribbing;
US 3 (3.25 mm) 16” (40 cm) or 24” (60 cm) and 32” (80 cm) circular needle (or longer circular needle for magic loop or DPNs) for body and sleeves;
US 1 (2.5 mm) 16” (40 cm), 24” (60 cm) and 32” (80 cm) circular needle for lifting loops of sleeves after removing a waste yarn.
Gauge
26 sts x 32 rows = 4” (10 cm) square in Stockinette stitch on No3,25 mm needles after blocking.
