The Bubby Beanie uses Fair Isle crochet to create a bubble design, with self-striping yarn doing the colorwork for you. Make it in four sizes, from baby to adult, using lightweight or fingering weight yarn.

Materials:

Main Color (MC): Approx. 380 yards of lightweight or fingering weight yarn

Contrasting Color (CC): Approx. 100 yards of lightweight or fingering weight yarn

Crochet hooks: 3.5mm (US E) and 4.0mm (US G), depending on size

Yarn or tapestry needle

Sizes (unstretched circumference):

Baby (Small): 16”

Kid (Medium): 17.5”

Woman (Large): 20”

Man (XLarge): 22”

Gauge: Gauge varies by size. Use the hook size listed for your chosen size and check your gauge against the pattern before beginning. Adjust your hook size as needed to match gauge.
