The size of finished item depends on the tension, yarn and hook you use. If you use the yarn and hook indicated (“Himalaya dolphin baby” or similar, 4.00 or 4.50 mm hook, 16 mm eyes), Bubby the Bear will be about 25 cm in height (10 inches). You can make it bigger or smaller using another type of yarn but, please, adapt the crochet hook and safety eyes accordingly.
For example:
--- With velvet yarn Bubby the bear will be about 16 cm (6.3 inches). (2.5 mm hook, 10 mm eyes).
--- With semicotton yarn (“YarnArt jeans”) Bubby the bear will be about 11 cm (4.3 inches). (2.00 mm hook, 9 mm eyes).
