The pattern is decribed as: “Easy and fast for beginners.”

The jacket may be made with either fingering weight or worsted weight yarn. The materials required are:

Fingering weight: size 4 needles; 36 yards light color yarn, 18 yards dark color yarn; gauge of 7 stitches per inch.

Worsted weight: size 3 needles; 32 yards light color yarn, 15 yards dark color yarn; gauge of 6 stitches per inch.

The designer also notes that you may make the jacket in a solid color if you wish. A design of your choice may be embroidered on the jacket when it is completed.

The jacket is made with top-down raglan construction. The only seams are the sleeve seams.

Sized for a Ken-type doll with the 1960s figure (in inches): 6.25 - 4.5 - 5.125. The fit may vary on modern dolls.
