This design was inspired by a piece in the Eileen Fisher store across the street.
The stitch is simple enough for a beginner knitter to complete-
Here is my secret for moss stitch:
Right side rows: do the opposite of what you see ( if it is a knit, then purl it).
Wrong side rows: do the same as what you see (if it is a knit, then knit it!)
Just put a safety pin on the right side and you never have to count rows again.
The key to this look is all in the buckle. Jul Designs has several big, dramatic pieces that can attach anywhere so every time you wear this it can be positioned a different way.
Knit on straight needles in one piece, it is basically a scarf, meant to be worn as a cowl.
