Budding Leaves Cowl
The construction of this shawl begins flat with a garter stitch tab. It begins as a triangle. Once the neck circumference is reached, the shawl is joined to work in the round and grows downward.
My inspiration for this cowl was springtime. The upper lace eyelets are intended to represent new buds, while the second lace section are the leaves growing from the buds. Spring is a great time to wear a lightweight cowl!
