Puddles buried this pattern - pattern is retired.

This pattern uses 5 skeins of Kollage Milky Whey milk/soy yarn on a US 5 needle. The finished measurements are 64” x 10”. It both starts and ends with 1 sts, so there are several rows of increases and decreases at the beginning and end. However the pattern worked over the majority of the shawl is only 9 rows.
I would put the pattern at a beginner + or intermediate.

Just in time for Spring. Do you find yourself cold in the chilly spring mornings or evenings? Wrap up in this cheery design. The soft milk and soy yarn will keep you comfortable, while the bright green will announce Spring to all you meet. The pattern details include French knots at the base of each leaf giving the illusion that the leaves are fresh from budding.

The quick story behind finding Kollage for the first time:
My mom was in Unwound and Mary introduced her to the Kollage yarn. Since she doesn’t knit herself, she convinced my dad to requested I knit something for her. I was very excited at the prospect! This is my first time working with Kollage yarns. I really love how soft the milk/soy yarn is. I bought the last 6 skeins in stock as I wasn’t sure how much I’d need. In the end, I used only 4 1/2 skeins, which left plenty left over for another design or charity swatch.

Pattern includes written directions, glossary, pictures, and charts. Tech edited by Katherine Vaughan.
