Canadians love their Buffalo Check. Traditionally done in red and black, make toques and cowls for the whole family.

Sizing for toques and cowls were adjusted by changing the weight of yarn and needles. More adjustments can be made easily if needed. All items should be knit loosely and have lots of stretch.

Toque
Baby - 155 dk weight yarn, circumference approx. 13”, height approx. 6 1/2”
Child - 150 worsted weight yarn, circumference approx. 16”, height approx. 8 1/2”
Adult - 180 chunky weight yarn, circumference approx. 20”, height approx. 10 1/2”

Cowl
Child - 180 worsted weight yarn, circumference approx. 21”, height approx. 8”
Adult - 265 chunky weight yarn, circumference approx. 24”, height approx. 13”
