The Buffy Beanie pattern is the sister pattern to the Verity Beanie pattern. This beanie pattern includes both real and faux cables. This pattern works up quickly and can easily be finished in one evening. You can adjust the pattern for height by adding or reducing the number of pattern repeats. This pattern will look particularly nice using tonal or solid yarn. Heavily speckled yarns may make the texture become muddled. Yarns that are closer to jumbo weight may require less repeats to reach desired length i.e. Wool and the Gang Crazy Sexy Wool or We Are Knitters The Wool or Cascade Magnum. Yarns that are considered super bulky such as 76 yard indie dyed yarn, MadTosh ASAP or BAAH Sequoia are too thin for the pattern as written.
