It’s a hat, it’s a cowl, it’s a headband, it’s a snood, it’s a balaclava and much more. It’s the perfect accessory for when you’re not sure what the cold weather will bring.

This accessory is similar to ones used in some of those reality TV shows. :).

This pattern is designed for many weights of yarn. A perfect use for your project leftovers, those one or two skeins of yarn in your stash that you can’t remember why you purchased or for that luxury skein of sock yarn when you are really tired of knitting socks!

You can also combine weights of yarn if you don’t have enough in your stash of one kind. Wonderful stash-busting project. Great as gifts too!

Ravelry doesn’t allow multiple choices of yarn gauges when adding pattern to the library but instructions are given for the following weights.

  • Lace (2 ply)
  • Fingering (4 ply)
  • Sport (5 ply)
  • DK (8 ply)
  • Worsted (10 ply)
  • Bulky (12 ply)

Patterned updated November 2017 to include lace and bulky calculations.
