This pattern describes how to crochet a BugsOut cup cover or glass cover to keep the Bugs Out of your drink.

It has a gap to put in your re-usable or paper straw, so it can stay on the glass.
If you make different colors, they will also help identify your glass when in company.

It is written for a 7 cm diameter glass or cup (2 3/4 inch), but you could change size by using other yarn and hook.

Because of the used stitches, I would recommend level intermediate/ experienced beginner.

used stitches include
slipstitch, single crochet, double crochet, back loop only, front post double crochet and back loop double crochet.

It is made in Aran weight or DK weight using a 3.5 mm hook

You would only need about 17-20 meter per cover (7 gram), therefore it is a quick project and ideal stashbuster.
