Building Block Socks
The patterning on this sock remind me of all the building blocks that my children have amassed, and that I step on ;) This pattern is a collaboration with Queen City yarn for Zombie Knitpocalypse 2021 and capitalizes on the beautiful colors of the Berryhill Fingering weight yarn, which is available in 50 gram skeins.
Yarn: Queen City Yarn, Berryhill Fingering weight yarn (80% Merino Wool, 20% Alpaca; 50 grams per 200 yards). Main Color (MC): Azalea, 50g; Contrast Color (CC): Pistachio, 50g
Needles: US 1 (2.25mm) dpn or magic loop, or size needed to achieve gauge.
The slipped stitches may decrease the circumference of your sock compared to your normal sock size. If you like more ease in your sock, you may want to go up a needle size or up a sock size. For reference, I got 18.5 stitches over 2 inches in the slipped stitch pattern.
