This pattern is for one of my one-off cowls. Very easy to do, but the effect looks really good in the bulky. A lot of people think the cowl is woven but it isn’t.

In regards to the yarn amount I do my usual thing, make the cowl until I run out of yarn and pray I have enough left over for the cast off. You can make it to any length, just keep repeating the pattern.
