The pattern is for a Medium (bust size about 92 cm), and made to fit an average height woman.
The pattern is for a Polo neck (Turtle Neck) jumper.
The gauge I used is slightly different from the gauge suggested by the yarn and this is noted in the pattern.

I struggled to find a pattern for Yarnfair Flying Colours. I had a look at a number of Drops Patterns that use the gauge I was knitting to. The result is this pattern which has been written as I knitted the jumper and would like to share it with others.

Yarnfair Flying Colours comes in 100g balls. I used about 372 g (just under 4 balls of yarn).

After wearing both jumpers for a while, I noticed that the ribbing stretched, particularly the 1x1 ribbing and the extra stitches tend to give a “flared” effect after stretching. To correct this, I had to undo the bottom, used 6mm needles for the ribbing. I did not increase to 108 stitches for the ribbing and used the following ribbing for the 1 x 1 ribbing:
On circular needles:
Row 1: Knit 1, Purl 1 with yarn under needle.
Row 2 and all other rib rows: Knit 1, Pur1 tbl with yarn under (the purling tbl corrects the twist created by the yarn under).
This creates a tighter ribbing. I’m not sure how it would have worked from a cast on, but I cast off using the yarn over method to create more stretch in the edge.

I preferred the 2x2 ribbing to control the elasticity, but, again, I corrected this by removing the ribbing and ribbing on only 104 stitches. For the 2x2 jumper I cast off using a twist method.

I have not corrected this in the pattern, because it would need some attention to determine how the different ribbing would work with a cast on instead of casting off.
For both jumpers, I would cast on using 8mm needles and rib with 6mm needles.
