This pattern is available for $7.00.

A bulky version of Oscar the Slouch, the ribbing of this hat is worked flat with short rows in a twisted rib that puts a bit less fabric at the back of your head. After the short rows are complete, you will join your ribbing in the round.

The body of the hat features a lattice cable panel flanked by bands of stockinette and reverse stockinette stitch that help the slouchiness fall perfectly into place. An optional pompom adds to the fun.

Materials:
2 skeins Madelinetosh Tosh Home (110 yds/skein), or
115 yds of bulky weight yarn.
Note that depending on any slight variation in gauge (or weight of the skein), you may only require 1 skein for the project (esp if you either omit the pompom, or add a purchased one to the hat).*
