This can either be made as a rattle or as a stand alone small bee toy. You can also make it in any colour that you choose. I chose the original black and yellow as I love the natural colour of bees.

You will need:

• Black and yellow 100% cotton yarn or 100 % marino yarn (remember that a baby will be putting this in their mouth so make sure to use high quality yarn)
• Crochet hook half to one size smaller than your yarn suggests. I use 3 mm hook with the Catania cotton yarn
• Kinder surprise egg container or another small container fulled with some small stones
• (Stuffing - you might not need it if you use a kinder surprise egg)
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Finished bee is about 5 cm long and the rattle stands at around 13cm tall when finished.
