THE DESIGN
“Softened, pixelated, stranded colorwork!”
Based on our Simple Colorwork Cowl, this free pattern features a simple one-by-one repeat and several colors of yarn to create a softened, pixelated striping effect. You alternate strands of yarn—only working with two colors at a time—to produce a fun, checker-like fabric! With one-color ribbing at each edge, and sized just right to keep your neck warm, it’s a cozy, colorwork skill-builder.

We picked a quiet shade of worsted-weight Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok for the main color, the one of the fun Woolstok Bundles (seven different colors, a total of 21 mini hanks) for a bit of multi-colored playfulness. Woolstok is made from Peruvian Highland wool—so your Bundle Up! Colorwork Cowl is sure to be lofty and soft, lightweight and warm!
