The size of the finished toy may vary according to the yarn thickness, the hook size, and your tension.
The size of my roll cakes are:
1. Bunny Roll Cake:

• With sport weight yarn: 5.5 cm wide, 8.5 cm tall
• With DK weight yarn: 8 cm wide, 12.5 cm tall

1. Bear Roll Cake:

• With sport weight yarn: 5.5 cm wide, 7.5 cm tall
• With DK weight yarn: 8 cm wide, 10.5 cm tall

Tools and Materials needed:

• 2.5 mm hook for crocheting with fingering/sport weight yarn or 3.0 mm hook for crocheting with DK weight yarn
• Cotton yarn in fingering/sport/DK weight
• 3 mm safety eyes if you use fingering/sport weight yarn or 5 mm safety eyes if you use DK weight yarn (optional)
• Thick plastic sheet or plastic canvas sheet or cardboard
• Fiberfill
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Safety pins
• Stitch markers or scraps of yarn for markers
