This is a very simple pattern that can be worked up in less than an hour. The pattern is worked up in rounds. The bunny teether is a fun little project to do while your newborn is sleeping. They can be a simple teether, or you can add ribbon to the other side of it to create a hand kite as well. Using cotton, ribbon, and a wooden ring creates a sensory toy for your baby to explore. This is considered a Waldorf toy which is the preferred type of toys used in Montessori teachings. Each bunny teether (without the ring) works out to be approximately 3 x 3.5” (7.5 x 9 cm).
