Bunny Pie Plushie
Meet Pie the Bunny - a cuddly amigurumi pattern by “For Didi”.
This beginner-friendly pattern is designed to be worked with super bulky plush chenille yarns like Himalaya Dolphin Baby, Wolans Bunny Baby, or YarnArt Dolce, giving your finished toy a soft, velvety feel. Although you can also use other yarns like Bernat Blanket or similar bulky yarns, just keep in mind that the toy’s size will vary depending on your yarn choice.
Pattern Details:
Written in English (US crochet terms).
Designed for right-handed crocheters.
No sew crochet pattern.
Includes:
- Complete crochet VIDEO TUTORIAL (the YouTube link is available in the PDF document). The video doesn’t have any speaking, but includes a detailed written description of each action on screen. It’s a thorough tutorial, 1 hour 23 minutes long, and divided into chapters (timestamps are provided). You can adjust the video speed in the YouTube settings.
- Text-only pattern in PDF (4 pages) - no process photos.
Skills Required - basic crochet knowledge:
ch – chain
st / sts – stitch / stitches
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc - double crochet
sl st – slip stitch
inc – increase
dec – decrease
Materials & Tools:
- chunky chenille / plush yarn (100% polyester, 100 g / 120 m = 3.5 oz / 131 yds)
yarn consumption - about 45-50 g = 1.6-1.8 oz
- 4 mm (size G-6) crochet hook;
- stuffing - polyester fiberfill (hollow fiber);
- scissors;
- yarn needle;
- stitch marker (or a thin thread);
- thin black yarn for embroidering the eye lines and nose;
- 10 mm (0.39 in) plastic safety eyes.
Finished Size:
The completed bunny will be approx. 14 cm (5.5 in) tall if you use the specified materials and tools.
