Sarah Hatton has played with construction for her pretty cardigan. The cable yoke section is worked sideways, then the main body is worked downwards, by picking up stitches along the lower edge of the yoke.
The sleeves are also knitted from the top down, and twisted rib edgings give a neat finish. The garment has a wonderfully soft feel thanks to Willow & Lark’s Nest yarn, which blends merino with cashmere and Tencel. It comes in a wide choice of lovely colours.
