The Burgeoning wrap was inspired by plants, just beginning to come up out of the ground. The lace stitches I used, start simple and grow into larger leafy shell stitches. I used shades of green to represent the stages of plant growth, with the lighter colors at the top, closest to the sunlight.

I used 3 colors of Cascade Heritage fingering weight. I had about a quarter of each color leftover.
