The Burnet Cowl is written to use either Unplanned Peacock Twisty Sock (or another light fingering weight yarn) or Unplanned Peacock Superwash Merino DK. It has instructions for both weights.

This cowl is a very form fitting cowl, suitable for outdoor activities when you really want something that blocks the wind. It’s very comfortable to wear, even though it’s close fitting. It’s vital to pick a soft, next to the skin yarn.

This pattern shows off hand dyed yarns very well.

Burnet Cowl was designed for the 2011 Unplanned Peacock Herbal Yarn Club.
