Burra Beanie is a design knit in 8ply yarn that looks like fine cables but is just knits and purls, carefully placed. It was developed for a class for beginner knitters exploring texture through knits and purls.

It can be knit in the round or worked flat as you prefer and instructions are given for both. There are also both written and charted instructions, so whichever way you like to knit, this pattern should suit.

It’s perfect for adventurous beginners wanting to expand their skills with this wonderful next-step project.

Requirements
Approx 65g DK or 8ply yarn
4mm/US 6 60cm circular needles or straights if you prefer, plus dpns for working the crown in the round.
