bussi Balaclava
The bussi Balaclava is a modern, cozy hood that combines functionality with thoughtful design.
Worked in one-color brioche stitch, it is especially soft, stretchy, and warm — perfect for colder days.
The integrated cable tunnel with an I-cord tie allows you to adjust the face opening individually and gives the balaclava its distinctive look.
This design is my first original knitting pattern and was created with great attention to detail.
The instructions are intentionally very detailed and written step by step, so you can feel confident while working through all techniques.
- Construction: Worked from the bottom up — first in the round, then flat.
- Techniques: One-color brioche stitch, I-cord, cable tunnel, short rows, 3-needle bind-off
