I made this pattern for fun, and was surprised by how well it turned out. I’ve made this a few times for gifts for friends, and I always enjoy people trying to guess what the pattern is supposed to be.

I do have a crochet hook listed in the supplies. It is only for the very end when you finish up the hat, so the exact size listed isn’t too important, but I would recommend as close to that size as possible.
