Yarn:

Sample knitted in Hobbii soft alpaca (165m / 50g).

Any yarn that meets the gauge may be used.

Yardage:

200 (220, 250, 270, 300) (320, 350, 370, 390) grams

660 (726, 825, 891, 990) (1056, 1155, 1221, 1287) meters

Needles:

3 mm & 3.5 mm circular needles and/or DPNs

Needle sizes are recommended, choose a size needed to achieve gauge, the smaller needle should be 1mm smaller than the larger needle.

Gauge:

24 stitches & 30 rows per 4” / 10cm in stockinette on larger needles after blocking.

Notions:

2 spare cables or waste yarn to hold the sleeve stitches, 2 standard stitch markers, 6 clip on stitch markers (optional)

Difficulty:

Knitted top down back and forth in rows with German short rows to shape the neckline and an integrated button band and button holes. The sleeves are knitted in the round. A flower detail is knitted before the hem on the sleeves and body.

Appropriate for intermediate knitters or a confident beginner who is willing to watch some videos on how to knit the flower stitch detail and preferably has experience of German short rows.
