Butterfly Bag

How about this super cute Butterfly Bag? :)

Pick 5 colors (or more) and off you go!

The bag comes with two inner bags for your purse, phone etc. There are two loops for key-rings, too.

You can make the bag in two sizes: the smaller version has 3 rounds of butterflies, the bigger version has 5 rounds.

All steps are explained in detail in words and pictures, so this pattern is suitable for practiced beginners as well.
This pattern contains 17 pages of crochet instructions and 21 pages of detailed step-by-step instructions.

Used techniques (US crochet terms): chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, triple crochet, increases and decreases, crocheting in front loops and back loops – explained, changeing yarn-color – explained.
The figures are crocheted in continuous rounds/spirals, in closed rounds, as well as back and forth in rows.

With 4.0 mm hook and DK weight yarn or two strands of Sport weight yarn the bags get to be 34 cm wide. The big bag gets to be 31 cm tall, the smaller one 22 cm.

You need it smaller or bigger? No problem! Simply use lighter or heavier yarn.
