This cute bonnet is knitted flat using the softest of baby yarns - Sirdar Snuggly. The instructions are given for two sizes, approx 0-3 months and 3-9 months, and are written in full. The bow pattern is sometimes referred to as butterfly stitch, and it’s far simpler than it might at first appear. It creates a pretty, dimpled effect that machine-knitted items just can’t recreate.

Please note that this is not the tension or needle size listed on the ball band for Sirdar Snuggly but is the stitch and row count that I worked to. This particular yarn is a little thinner than standard DK, so please make a tension square and adjust your needle size accordingly.

Finished size: approx 31 (36) cm 12 (14) inches around face; 13.5 (15) cm 5.25 (6) inches crown to front edge.
