Options are given for several different thread weights. Requires between 1 and 2 balls each of White and a Shaded color:
- Size 10 crochet thread/Size 5 pearl cotton: #7 steel hook, finished size approx. 11-1/2 inches
- “Silateen Sansil” Article 102: #10 steel hook, finished size approx. 10-1/2 inches
- Size 30 crochet thread: #12 steel hook, finished size approx. 9-1/2 inches
- Size 70 crochet/tatting thread: #13 steel hook, finished size approx. 7-1/2 inches
Directions are given for Basic doily #1, basic doily #2, and small doily with 3 1/2” center. The basic doilies may also be used as centers for other borders, such as grapes or holly leaves; these patterns are provided elsewhere in the booklet.
