For the last 2020 project I chose butterflies because they symbolize transformation and rebirth. May these beautiful creatures bring some luck and prosperity for the next year!

Butterfly Effect is worked seamlessly from the top down.
Work sleeves in the round on a short circular needle/double pointed needles.
Sleeves are worked top down to the cuffs last.

Léttlopi Icelandic Istex – 109 yds/100 m. – 50 gr.
MC: #054 Light Ash Heather: 7 (7, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10) balls
CC1: #1412 Pink: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2) balls

Needles
US 5 (3,75 mm) 16” (40 cm) and 32” (80 cm) circular needle and DPNs (or longer circular needle for magic loop) for neck, body and sleeve ribbing.
US 7 (4,5 mm) 24” (60 cm) and 32” (80 cm) circular needle and DPNs (or longer circular needle for magic loop) for body and sleeves.

Gauge
18 sts x 26 rows = 4” (10 cm) square in Stockinette stitch, in the round, on needles US 7 (4,5 mm.)
