This shawl is so warm and cozy! It is like being wrapped in a blanket. And it is shaped like a beautiful butterfly. It works up quickly and is very easy to make! This is a fun and satisfying project for any level of crocheter, although this is an advanced beginner level pattern. This pattern includes a photo tutorial. The finished size for this shawl is 60 inches at widest point by 23 inches at longest point.

This shawl uses about 896 yards of DK/CYC Weight 3 yarn, 4.25mm crochet hook, and a yarn needle for weaving in ends. I used Yarn Bee Caterina in Emerald Blue, but you could use any DK weight yarn you would like.

Gauge is 4” square = 16 double crochet by 8 rows.
