This pattern was designed for Southern Skeins monthly sock box which for July 2021, is butterfly theme. The butterfly lace pattern is a simple 8 row repeat that can be repeated as many times as you choose to create your desired leg length. I made this pattern to be more like a recipe where you can insert your preferred heel or toe or use the pattern I wrote. I hope you enjoy knitting these socks.

Materials:
100g skein and a 20g skein in a contrast color of sock weight yarn. (I used Southern Skeins Southern sock yarn)

2 pair size1 knitting needles, I used 24 inch circular needles for the sock plus a set of DPNs for the heel.

Size
Sizes are (S, M, L) are designed to fit approximate foot circumferences (8”, 9”, 10”). You will want to cast on the foot circumference closest to your measurement, keeping in mind you want a snug fit around your foot with your socks.

34 stitches x 48 rows = 4 inches knit stockinette in the round unblocked
