This versatile motif is constructed in two parts, joined in the middle. Join partway to make a butterfly, or all the way to make a leaf!

Gauge is not important here. This quick, easy pattern uses small quantities of any weight yarn or thread and is good for scraps. Use a hook appropriate for your yarn or thread. The samples were made in worsted weight with an H hook, and measured 5”w x 3 1/2” L.
