This pattern is written based on a repeating pattern, it can be ended at any time once it has reached the desired size and any yarn + recommended hook may be used. The written instructions are for worsted yarn, but there are guides for how to add extra rows if you’re using a smaller weight. I personally like using sport weight yarns from Hobbii, such as Azalea and Twister, for me, one cake makes a full shawl.
