Butterfly Wrap-Up
Butterfly Wrap-Up
This pattern is one that I made to help keep off the spring chill. Spring can have some cold mornings and evenings, so I designed this pattern for a delicate transition piece for just such days.
I like that the pattern resembles butterflies or dragonflies, adding to the spring feel. It can go well with almost any outfit, and the butterfly motif completes the spring look.
Gauge is not important, it is a shawl and is measured in the motifs that you make. ‘1 motif is about 4inch’
The pattern complexity is an Intermediate pattern – This pattern is a 10-row repeat. however, it uses basic crochet stitches.
Ch – Chain, Sc – Single Crochet, Dc – Double Crochet, V-St – (Dc Ch1, Dc).
Consider these yarns when making the wrap.
Acrylic
- Lion Brand: Shawl in a ball or Scarfie Lite.
Wool or blended yarn
- Any fingering weight yarn you choose, plus mohair if you want a halo.
- Any DK weight yarn you choose if no halo is wanted.
Happy Crocheting!
