Butterfly’s Garden
Butterfly’s Garden is based on the beauty of spring. This Top is lightweight, flowy and perfect for a spring or summer day. With beautiful butterflies and stranded flowers along the top, a choice of elbow length sleeves, or short sleeves, you can make this top come to life with unlimited colors.
CONSTRUCTION
Based on the tradition of Icelandic circular yoke sweaters, Butterfly’s Garden is knit in the round from the bottom up. With options for short sleeves or long sleeves, and waist and bust-shaping this pattern works for lots of bodies. Short rows are worked on the back of the sweater to bring the front of the collar lower than the back. The stranded yoke is worked, and then the ribbed collar is finished with Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind-off.
