The Cowl is knit as a simple rectangle, all in Garter stitch, with four buttonholes. Two buttons are sewed to the end of the Cowl opposite 2 of the buttonholes, allowing the Cowl to be buttoned in various creative ways. You can choose which 2 buttonholes to sew your buttons opposite from – we loved our choice of the first and the third buttonhole. The Cowl is designed with the option to button it in creative ways. You can even slip the button through 2 of the buttonholes to create a dimensional fold in the knitting.
