Bye bye birdie socks
Knitting is all about making knit and purl stitches, and that’s exactly what this design is about. Nothing more, nothing less. No use of colors, increases or decreases, slipped or fancy stitches, and yet a very nice pattern emerges. It reminds me of birds taking flight, and that makes me very happy. The pattern of knit and purl stitches is simple and delightful to knit, so you’ll have it memorized after just a few repeats. I’m very excited to share these ‘Bye Bye Birdie Socks’ with you now.
The instructions in this pattern booklet are combined under one heading and marked with colors: (Dutch), (English), and (German). Because the instructions for knitting the heel and toe are a bit more extensive, I’ve created separate headings for each language there. It’s all very straightforward. I wish you lots of knitting fun!

For DPNs, Magic Loop and short circulars
This cuff down sock pattern with heelflap and gusset is super fun and quick to knit. It is suitable for knitting with DPNs, magic loop and short circulars. The instructions for these different type of needles are clearly indicated in the text.
