There is a child’s version of this sweater available in my Ravelry store!

Construction:
Byfall is a seamless top-down round yoke garment. The sweater is divided into sections of colors that interlock seamlessly, thanks to stranded colorwork color transitioning motive throughout.

The sleeves are slightly wider and their circumference at upper arm includes about 4 in / 10 cm of positive ease.

The length of body and sleeves can be modified by adding or taking away sections of the sweater.

There is a modified version in the pattern, where you can change the yoke depth to extra deep, and sleeves to be wider and the finished garment bust circumference to more positive ease.
See pattern for more.

Materials:

NOTE: this project is intended for stash busting, therefore, you can use as little colors as 1 (and skip the colorwork), and as many as there are color sections for sweater for your size.

For the main sample I used Shine Sport by Knit Picks (60% Pima Cotton 40% Modal; 110 yards/101 meters/50g)

Colors used:
C1: Currant;
C2: Cream;
C3: Willow;
C4: Sweet potato;

For the festive (modified version, see the modification notes in the pattern) I used Wool of the Andes Sport
(100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 137 yards/125 meters/50g)

Colors used:
C1: Hollyberry;
C2: Pampas Heather;
C3: Dove Heather.
