EDIT: 3/13/25 For the very first time I have somehow run out of yarn while making one of these blankets at the same exact size as usual. I did check my weight and it was correct, so I’m going to caution that you may need a third cake just in case.

EDIT: I had a small issue with the Youtube video link, I have since updated the pdf so if you downloaded it previously and the link won’t work, please re-download the pdf! Thank you!

This is my personal baby blanket pattern I’ve used for several years now. Every incoming new baby that I know gets one (usually) before they’re born! The pictures are of the latest one I did for a very special little girl who’s now arrived!

Important notes:

  • Gauge is not super important as blanket is technically made to measure at 36” x 36” (stroller size)
  • I recommend a self-striping yarn, use whatever you like!
  • A video tutorial for C2C crochet is included in my pdf!
  • You’ll need between 1.5-2 cakes/skeins if you’re using the yarn I used
