This is a simple variation on the regular C2C crochet stitch. If you know how to work the normal C2C method, you can do this variation easily.

The Cable stitch is a set of 4 dcs where the first stitch is skipped, a dc is made in each of the next three stitches, then a dc is made in the first skipped stitch (the dc crosses over the other three dcs).

This is a rather simple change to regular C2C but it makes the stitches pop out, highlighting the diagonal construction of the piece.

Any yarn and accompanying hook size can be used for this C2C Cable stitch method to create a piece in any size you want.
