The Corner to Corner (C2C) Wattle Stitch crochet pattern creates a Wattle Stitch crochet piece that is worked diagonally. Unlike working the wattle stitch horizontally, where each row of stitches is stacked on top of the other and stays in the same direction, crocheting on the bias allows the rows of stitches to alternate in direction, where some rows lean to the left and others lean to the right. This C2C stitch variation can be used to make a wide range of things in various sizes, from the small (washcloths) to large (scarves, blankets).
