Cabable
I loved designing this sweater. I wanted to combine simple cables with a little bit of breathing room in the form of simple lacy eyelets. It’s not a bad attempt. The name? It means you are capable of knitting cables.
This casual weekend sweater features a simple cable and lace pattern. Comfortable and cozy, this top-down sweater knit in the round would be perfect for a brisk morning walk or for cuddling up on the couch with a good book. The pattern is easy to memorize. Cabable is designed to have 2-3” of positive ease. Skills: Knit, purl, knit two together, slip slip knit, cables, yarn over, knitting in the round, provisional cast on, cable cast on.
The Cabable pattern includes both written and charted instructions, a schematic, and instructions for 11 sizes, ranging from a 28”/71 cm bust to a 68”/172.5 cm bust.
The pattern has been tech-edited and knit by test knitters.
