This is the pattern for the “Caballo Salvaje.” It is knitted in the round with circular needles using the magic circle technique. It begins at the nose, then the head is shaped with increases. Using backloop cast-on stitches, the body and legs are added, and then decreases are used to shape the neck. The legs are left on hold while the body is worked. Then purl stitches are picked up for the hind legs, and finally it is finished with short rows to shape the back end. The seams are closed with a Kitchener stitch, it is stuffed in sections, and lastly the mane and tail are added using a crochet hook.
